Dickinson State University announces outstanding graduates for 2025

Dickinson State University (DSU) has announced its 2025 Outstanding Graduates, recognizing students from each of its academic schools for their achievements in academics, leadership, and service. The celebration will take place on May 16 at the DSU Student Center Ballroom.

Emily Beck from the School of Business and Entrepreneurship is noted for her determination. Originally from Fessenden, North Dakota, she completed two bachelor's and two master's degrees in four years while competing on the DSU Rodeo Team. She plans to continue with rodeo and start a professional career.

Lottie Caldwell from the School of Education found her passion in English after initially pursuing veterinary science. She earned honors such as President’s and Dean’s List recognitions and contributed to local publications. Lottie aims to pursue a master's degree in English at the University of North Dakota.

Jake Daniel also from the School of Education balanced academics with athletics as part of the men’s basketball team. He intends to pursue a master’s in Educational Leadership at DSU while teaching Physical Education locally.

Carson Hunter from the School of Professional Studies made significant contributions both academically and athletically at DSU. He plans a career centered on health and community leadership after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.

Christina Jorgensen, a master graduate from the School of Education, returns to Dickinson with extensive experience in leadership roles within nonprofit organizations. Her commitment remains strong towards community service and education.

Kaitlyn McColly from the School of Professional Studies excelled academically with a perfect GPA while achieving notable success in track and field events. She will begin her nursing career as a pediatric nurse post-graduation.

Griffin Obrigewitch from the School of Applied Sciences is set to graduate with multiple honors as an athlete and student leader. He plans to pursue dentistry, emphasizing learning and leadership.

Brendon Rasmussen developed his passion for conservation through his love for nature, leading him to study Natural Resource Management at DSU after transferring from another institution.

X’Avier Vincent pursued Business Administration at DSU where he stood out through leadership competitions. He looks forward to building a business career by integrating his creative talents.

Madison Wahl balanced athletics with education during her time at DSU, earning All-American status in pole vaulting while studying Elementary Education. She is eager to start her teaching career post-graduation.
