WILLISTON, N.D. – Williston State College will be hosting a Health & Wellness Fair on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 10am to 3pm in the Skadeland Gym on the Williston State College campus.
In conjunction with the Community Blood Drive, the Health Fair will offer a multitude of educational and wellness resources to people, through such providers as, Upper Missouri District Health Unit, ND Navigators, The ARC, Nutrition & Beyond, and others.
“This event will provide the entire Williston community with a variety of health education and resources, an essential lifegiving blood drive, and STI testing clinic,” said Health & Wellness Coordinator LeeAnn Clark.
This started as Dr. Crystal Arnson, with the Upper Missouri District Heath Unit, reached out to WSC to see how they could partner with their agency to provide essential reproductive and prevention education to our students. UMDHU has provided these vital health services for our students and community in the past, and WSC was thrilled to reinvigorate this partnership by hosting a community wide STI Testing event.
This event is in conjunction with the Community Blood Drive, also taking place at WSC, on November 29, 2022, as part of the WSC Nursing Students Annual Education Fair.
