66 percent of applicants to Dickinson State University were admitted for fall 2018

At Dickinson State University, 77 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Dickinson enrolled 1,392 students in fall 2018, including 1,375 in undergraduate and 17 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

63 percent of undergraduates are residents of North Dakota, and 34 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (6 percent).

The school admitted 66 percent of the 530 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 51 percent enrolled.
