3.1% of Williams County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Williams County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 641 people out of the 38,460 living in Williams County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Williams County has decreased compared to the 3.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Williams County was nearly equal to the statewide unemployment rate of 3.1%.

Of the 20,371 people who had a job during that time, 38 were employed in the Armed Forces and 20,333 belonged to the civilian labor force.
