Census Bureau: 79.2% of people in Golden Valley County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 1,812 citizens living in Golden Valley County in 2021, 79.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,435 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 703 were male, constituting 49%, and 732 were female, making up 51%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Golden Valley County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.1%.
