The ND Department of Agriculture has recently launched a new program known as the Local Food Purchasing Agreement (LFPA), enabling food banks like ours to purchase locally grown/raised/produced food!
As part of this exciting opportunity, the #greatplainsfoodbank will not only get local foods into the hands of food insecure North Dakotans, but will also help boost our states agricultural economy by purchasing fresh, nutritional food from our local farmers and ranchers.
