I spy a 36 axle transport?!?
Barnhart Crane & Rigging will be moving a LARGE load through western ND via US Hwy 85 and US Hwy 2 beginning Nov. 15. The transport is nearly 25' wide and 1 million lbs. (36 axles!!) and will be very slow moving.
The route through ND started on Hwy 85 at the SD border. It travels north on Hwy 85 to Williston and then turns west on Hwy 2 going to MT.
Traffic on Hwy 85 and Hwy 2 will be affected as it makes its way through the state. North Dakota Highway Patrol asks that motorists consider an alternate route since delays are expected. There are no planed road closures, just expected delays.
The transport stopped for the night (11/15) in Bowman and depending on conditions today (11/16) it will try to make it as far north as possible.
