3.8% of Mountrail County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Mountrail County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.8% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 175 people out of the 9,717 living in Mountrail County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Mountrail County has decreased compared to the 4.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Mountrail County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.1%.

Of the 4,408 people who had a job during that time, 9 were employed in the Armed Forces and 4,399 belonged to the civilian labor force.
