What is an estimated tax statement? It is a document that provides property owners with an estimated amount of what your property taxes for 2022 will be. It is NOT a bill. The final annual tax statement, the one that needs to be paid, will be mailed in December.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Williams County mails each property owner a single consolidated statement for both estimated taxes and final taxes. If you have questions or concerns about specific tax amounts, please reach out directly to the appropriate taxing district.
Some tax districts are required to hold a public hearing about their budget. This hearing information is printed on your estimated tax statement.
