Vision West ND (VWND) Foundation, through its affiliation with the North Dakota Community Foundation (NDCF) is pleased to announce that the Hazen Chamber of Commerce, under the leadership of Antoinette Heier, executive director has recently been awarded a $2,000 foundation grant.  The money was awarded to help supplement the Paul Weiser Pocket Park by upgrading the amenities on display in the park.  The money will be used to help offset the cost of adding a sensory garden to the park, something that Antoinette learned about while vacationing in Colorado in 2021, but more so after attending the State Tourism Conference in Grand Fork this past spring.  “A sensory garden’s main purpose is to engage all five senses and truly enhances the park itself.”  “We are excited to expand and so thankful for the support provided by Vision West ND and the community”

Buster Langowski, Vision West ND Foundation President is assisting Antoinette Heier in accepting recognition of her award.
