Dickinson State University (DSU) acknowledges its staff’s notable accomplishments, emphasizing their vital roles in the institution’s success.

Dr. Ayodeji Arogundade, the Dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship, has been appointed as the Secretary of IACBE Region 5, encompassing multiple states including North Dakota and South Dakota. Dr. Arogundade’s new role signifies his dedication to educational leadership within the business sector.

Tim Kessel, an Assistant Professor of Finance and Business, contributed expert insights to WalletHub’s piece titled, “Compare Car Insurance Rates,” assisting consumers with auto insurance rate analysis. His full insights can be accessed through WalletHub’s article.

The university also highlights significant staff updates. Michael Evenson, with over a decade of custodial experience in the Dickinson Public School System, has joined DSU. After a brief stint in animal control, Evenson is eager to return to an academic setting.

Additionally, Rachel Hornbarger has taken up the role of Accounts Payable Technician, having moved from Winnemucca, Nevada. Formerly a junior high teacher, Hornbarger is enthusiastic about her new position within DSU’s Business Affairs Office.
